FAQ

What should I expect in a class?

Here at trap you come for the grind stay for the vibes! You’ll have the best of both worlds with specifically programmed moves on the megaformer and benches. All while being showered in the sounds of the best in trap and house music. 50 minutes of your new favorite workout.

What’s the difference between the Reformer Room and the Group Room?

The Reformer Room (2nd Floor) features our signature 50-minute switch-style workout, combining reformer Pilates with weight training for a low-impact, strength-focused experience.

The Group Room (3rd Floor) offers a dynamic, mat-based lineup including yoga, sculpt, mat Pilates, and rotating group formats — perfect for those looking to mix up their routine with variety and flow. The Group Room’s core schedule includes our signature formats — TRAP Tone, TRAP Flow, and Trappin on the Mat — with additional specialty classes rotating in regularly to keep your training fresh and dynamic.
Both spaces deliver the full TRAPHAUS energy, just through different movement styles.

Do I need prior experience with Pilates or strength training?

Our Reformer Room classes are simplified as you are following along with a timer and perfect form on a screen in front of you. In terms of reformer experience, we recommend taking an intro class or at least showing up 15 minutes before start time. Let your instructor know upon arrival so they can get you familiar with the machines.

Our Group Room classes are designed for all fitness levels, with options and modifications available. If you’re new to fitness or have any injuries, please let your trainer know before class so they can best support you.

What should I bring to class?

For the Reformer Room:
Please wear comfortable workout attire and bring water. Classes may be taken in socks or barefoot.Grip socks are mandatory and available for $16 purchase in-studio. We provide all other necessary equipment.

For the Group Room:
Please wear comfortable workout attire and bring water. Classes may be taken in socks or barefoot. Bring your own yoga mat or one can be rented in the studio for $5.

How long are the classes?

Reformer Room
50 minutes

Group Room
Class length varies by format, ranging from 50 to 60 minutes.

The room is called ‘Reformer Room’. Does this mean you will offer reformer Pilates?

While our equipment is inspired by the reformer, our classes are not traditional reformer Pilates. We use Xformer machines, which allow for a wider range of strength, resistance, and conditioning work. This enables us to blend Pilates-style movement with hypertrophy training for a uniquely effective, low-impact workout.

Are your classes suitable for all fitness levels?

Classes will definitely be challenging, but that’s why you’re here! However, if you find that holding planks is too difficult, TRAP Reformer Room might be a little tough for you. We also have the TRAP LIFT workout available in every class if you’re newer to your fitness journey and just want to experience the vibes.

Group Room is suitable for all fitness levels but if you’re new to fitness or have any injuries, please let your trainer know before class so they can best support you.

Do you offer memberships or drop-in options?

We do not offer drop-ins unless there is space available in the class and the spot is purchased at the Guest Service Desk. We DO offer memberships! Please visit our PRICES page for more information.

Why can’t I book any classes on the 3rd floor with my previous 2nd floor membership?

Beginning January 12, 2026, class credits will be designated by studio room. Guests must purchase credits that correspond to the specific space they wish to train in — either the Reformer Room (2nd Floor) or the Group Room (3rd Floor).

Single classes, 4-class packs, and 10-class packs are priced separately for each room. To enjoy full flexibility and move freely between both spaces, we recommend our Unlimited Membership, which provides unrestricted access to all classes on both floors along with other perks.

I purchased the wrong class credit — can I swap it?

Because there are pricing differences between the Reformer Room and the Group Room based on operational costs, class credits are not interchangeable. If you accidentally purchase a Reformer Room credit but were hoping to try a Group Room class, our Guest Services team may be able to assist with alternative options where operational flexibility allows.

Can I purchase a monthly package for just one month?

No. All monthly packages require a minimum three-month commitment along with a 30-day cancellation notice.

Does TrapHaus offer personal training?

Yes we do! Inquire within.

What is the cancellation policy?

The studio requires at least 10 hours cancellation notice, or a $15 dollar charge is automatically applied (credits are always returned back into account to re-book another class if the credit is not expired.).

Can we bring guests?

Yes. Guests are welcome; however, each guest requires one purchased class credit. Any registered TRAPHAUS member may book on behalf of a guest using an available credit.
Beginning February 1, 2026, complimentary guest passes (1–3 per month) will be reserved exclusively for Unlimited Members, unless you hold a legacy Reformer Room membership.

What is the no-show policy?

The studio requires at least 10 hours cancellation notice, if guests do not show up for class at all, a $25 no-show fee will be automatically applied (credits are always returned back to re-book another class if the credit is not expired.)

What if I am running late?

For the safety and experience of all guests, first-time visitors are not permitted to join class if they arrive late. All first-time guests are required to complete a 10–15 minute walkthrough prior to class so they can become familiar with the equipment and training format. If you arrive late for your first visit, your class credit will be returned and our Guest Services team will be happy to help you reschedule.

For returning guests, we offer a 5-minute grace period. Because our classes are intentionally small and intimate, late arrivals can be disruptive to the group experience. Guests arriving more than 5 minutes after class begins will not be admitted, but their credit will be returned and they may reschedule. If you notify us in advance, our Guest Services team may be able to waive any applicable late fees; however, if the class has already begun and no prior notice was given, fees may apply.

Are there showers and locker rooms?

TRAPHAUS currently offers one shower (with a second opening on February 1, 2026). While we do not have traditional locker rooms, we provide open cubby storage for personal items. Beginning February 1, 2026, lockers will be available on the 2nd floor for added convenience and security.

Our Guest Service Representatives are present at the front desk during most classes to help monitor the space; however, TRAPHAUS is not responsible for lost or stolen items, and we encourage guests to keep valuables with them at all times.

Can I record content for social media in the studio?

Yes — content may be recorded with the trainer’s approval and only if fellow guests in the class are comfortable. You’re welcome to prop up your phone for personal content; however, tripods are not permitted during regular classes. Setting up tripods or filming equipment is strictly prohibited unless the class has been designated as an Influencer Class.
